T. Chung Workshop
Year
2024
This project was realized during an intensive workshop organized during the International Design Week at the École de design de l'UQAM. Tom Chung the invited designer for this workshop challenged us to find an abandoned object in the streets of Montreal and use it as inspiration to design a new system or object. Each creation had to integrate a 3D-printed part, used as a mechanism or functional accessory. The result is a coffee table made from aluminum pipes, climbing rope and a sheet of Plexiglas. An exploration where recovery, intuitive design and fabrication digital meet. During this project, I was in charge of the art direction as well as the 3D design of the printed elements.
